I need to find a durable single push button air coupler. It has to be 1/4" automotive style per corporate rules. New regulations have come out and we're having to change to the push button release. I've used the Prevost ones but I want opinions from people who have used multiple brands. I'm not opposed to spending the money on high quality couplers but I want to spend the money wisely.

Do you not like the Prevost couplers? I outfitted my shop with them a few years ago and have been happy with them.

Been using the Prevost couplers for about the past 17-18 years. No problems. When I had the miltons, seemed like I was forever rebuilding one. In fact, I always kept a couple of Milton kits on hand. Never had to take a Prevost apart.

No complaints with the Prevost. I see that there are a couple of ones that they offer. Just checking out my options.

+1 Prevost (sorry - they do just work great though).

I'm using the Husky ones from HS in my shop.

The good part is being a two-push type, the release is controlled and quiet. They're also easy to insert, lightweight (aluminum body), and covered in rubber so they're not likely to damage things.

The bad part is that I have one hose reel outside (under an awning), and that one damned coupler seems to fail at least once a year. Something is corroding in it far too quickly.
