Are the push in connectors any good they look fantastic ? things I should look for or things I should stay away from.

Curious, too.
Seems like guys hate the stab in ports on receptacles, but love the stab in connectors.:headscrat

The push-in style connectors have been common in Europe for years, but they are relatively new in the US. Some people equate them to the back stab connections on outlets, but they are actually better designed, and seem to be more reliable.
That being said, they tend to be a lot more pricey than wire nuts, so I would only resort to them when there isn't enough slack in the wire.

And with anything, you want to stay away from the cheap ****. The Ideal ones are supposed to be good quality. Wago is the big name overseas, but I'm not sure if you can get them around here.

The stab in ports on receptacle are "razor sharp" on the area where they contact the wire.
The contact area on the stab in connectors are a flat curve shaped, and provide more surface area in contact with the wire.

U can by Wago on Amazon. A 100 count box of 4 conductor 12awg is about $12 shipped. If you have any amount of wiring to do they are money well spent and work very well.

Here it is. ^

Wire nuts still work just great but the Wagos are faster.
