I'd seen the one thread about this but I'm 100% sure mine won't fold up like that. I know there's some creative folks here with the need to get the mower out of their way in the garage. I'll need to check with my HOA to see if a shed is an option but at this point my only idea is to make a little dog-house for it on the back porch....

I redid my garden last year and when I installed the decking I made sure there were no posts in the centre. I made sure that the sides were panelled in and when panelling in the front I added a large removeable section. When this section is out I have an opening about 20" high to access under the deching. I keep all the garden tools under there, the mower and most of my scrap steel too! I have power under there in waterproof sockets. before I finished it all I added plastic corrigated sheet under the 2x6`s holding the top surface with a slope on it, with this added the water runs away from my tools :D

What kind of mower?

Most mowers have handles designed to fold forward and then in half.

Holy ****... dreaded acronym "HOA"!!! A 10x12 shed out back with all your yard gear, spare lumber, extra wheels&tires, fuel, oil in it is best way to get clutter outta the garage. Then all you need in the garage is your car and tools. Its amazing how much space a mower or two, shovels/rakes, and a set of tires consume in a garage.

I shove mine under the stairs, the handle still sticks out, but it helps.

I really should get rid of the thing, in 5 or 6 years, I doubt if I have used it half a dozen times, for a total run time of less than a couple of hours.

I mow as close as I can with the rider, and use the trimmer to do the rest.

I'm in the same boat and just found this online:

I'm thinking of making something similiar - my handles DO fold up on my pushmower. I also have a deck - about 3' off the ground so I've also toyed with the idea of putting a "roof" on the under side of the joists to make a little waterproof section to store the pushmower underneath. Havn't decided which to do yet.
