Got this idea from a local garage that restores cars that had an old pair of tail lights hung on their wall that were lit up. I thought, hey, I have a set of tail lights just gathering dust, so I decided to put them on my garage wall. I figured I would probably not bother selling them, so I screwed the three pieces together. I didn't want to mess with trying to figure out how to get power to the original bulbs from an outlet, so I just bought a set of bright white LED Christmas lights and put them in the sockets. They use like, no energy, generate no heat and last 200,000 years..or maybe thats hours
Makes for a great night light for the Z! I figured out a way to secure the whole thing to the wall, which wasn't easy, due to the size and curve of the lights.
Some of the pics are a little blurry, since I was trying to get a setting on the camera that would show the lights best, but I didn't bother getting a tripod.
I thought it turned out pretty cool.
Let me know what you think.
