Put the Pedal to the Metal!

Most of the import TIG welders come with a cheap and not very effective foot pedal. A lot of people replace them with a better one.

I finally got the gumption to do the same.

A new pedal with the right pin outs for my AHP welder just arrived from SSC Controls Company.

That will be a big improvement over this:

Even better, I found this attachment from HTP USA Weld. It's a extension with a rest for your heel.

That heel extension looks interesting, been meaning to get a tig ever since I learned.

I think the heel rest will prove to be useful for "not youthful" ankle.
