Putting a hard handle on a snappy ratchet?

I searched and didn't really find what I was looking for. I've got some older snappy ratchets that i would like to put hard handles on
. What will it take?

He sells them (you can supply handle, handle and ratchet or both or he can supply the whole unit) ...

Turns ratchet handle down on metal lathe and then friction fits the handle which has been core drilled out to fit the turned portion.
