I hope some of you will be able to help me out. I'm putting in Allure Ultra Vinyl plank flooring over 3/4" tongue and groove sub flooring. One side of the room has dropped about an inch over the last 35 years, and I want to use Henry 555 or 565 self leveling compound.

Does anyone have any advice or tips? The section I need to level is 'bay' shaped, and is about 14' long by 4' wide. I have sanded the area with 60 grit paper, and I plan to use the recommended primer.

How well does this stuff work?
How long do I have to work with it?
Is it possible to mix less than a whole bag?

Thanks.

From what I've read you have to move fast and colder the water slower the set time. I see no reason why you couldn't do small batches.

Our Prep-Crete Install Division installs over 500,000 sq feeet of self leveling products a year, so we have plenty of experience with these products. Armorpoxy is a Master Distributor for Laticrete which we carry, see our website. The products are easy to use. The Laticrete Drytek Levelex is the most popular product. If you purchase we can get you in touch with the factory rep who can guide you with any questions you may have. It's easy to work with, and there are also lots of YouTube videos as does Laticrete about how to install. The working times are plenty long enough since you need to match it in batches.
