Hello, thought I'd say hi and say what a great site this is, lots of great ideas out there! I'm in the process of building a 30x40 pole barn and wondering what thoughts there may be regarding pouring concrete this late in the year. It would be another 2 weeks yet before it would be ready, or would it be best to wait till spring? I'm in southern Wisconsin and nights are starting to get a bit below freezing. Thanks

Welcome to the site. I would advise you to repost your question in the 'general garage' forum as it will get a lot more hits there. Also put your location in your profile so that a quick glance shows where you are at because your question is location specific.

Welcome. I'm in southern Wisconsin also. I just poured mine on 10/4. My guy said if we did not pour by 10/15 or so he would wait untill spring. As ths temp goes down the price of concrete goes up. Takes more additives they also use hot water and charge more for that also.
