I wanted to put up some rabbit cages along the north wall of my garage. I've got hardy planks running lengthwise back there.
I bought some old old fiberglass corrugated panels at a yard sale and will overlap two of them to form the roof over the rabbit cages. The cages I've got currently I have hanging with wire which works pretty well.
The ones I've got now have couple tin roof panels over em that I repurposed. They don't meet up against the wall and the rain off the garage roof falls between em and makes a mess of the droppings and such below the cages.
I think the panels should go all the way against the wall. I'm wondering if I need to put something against the hardy board to keep the water from splashing against the wall? I realize this is a beginner question but I'm just not aware of the proper way to do it.
If this turns into a long term hobby I'll try and have a lean-to built off that side of the garage but for now I'm just looking for inexpensive.
