Qincy QT5 setup

Just picked up a Quincy QT5, used, and would like to know what to install on the discharge end.
Is it ok just to go directly to my tools from the tank?
Can I use other oils?

I recommend a filter and a regulator.
Use other oils in the crankcase? No, only use Quin-cip.

It does have a regulator but no filter. Any recommendations on the filter?
