Anyone try these from gearwrench yet?

Yeah, they're cool for what they're cool for. Good for portable kits, vehicle kits, and bikes.

edit: I actually like them enough that I just picked up a couple extra sets for half off at sears to hang on my toolboard. I already have a couple sets in my portable kit.

yes they are I got the metric and standard size at sears all gearwrench are 50% off for fathers day on the metric set you get 8 and 10 mm on one end and 12 and 13 in one and the other has 16/17 and 18/19
the sae has 3/8-5/16 and 7/16-1/2 and the other wrench has 9/16-5/8 and the other end3/4-11/16
so its like 4 wrenches in one... in my opinion way better than the craftsman dogbone also great fit and finish

I like the multi-tool design but was wondering about durability/usage issues myself. Thanks for the info!

I have found these wrenches to be perfect in one situation where absolutely nothing else would work. There was a stud inside of a machined pocket with barely enough room between the end of the stud and the wall to get the wrench on. The nut was recessed down enough that I couldn't get a regular box end on it and there wasn't enough space between the stud and wall to get a socket in (I even machined a socket way down to try). Since the quad box has a thin extended piece it basically acted as a super low profile ratchet and I was able to get the nut off without disassembling a ton of other things to get to it.

Problem with the metric quad box wrenches is that 14mm is left out. I don't need 13mm but I do need 14mm when I work on honda / acura.
