Quality carburetor screwdriver ?

Does anyone know which brand would sell quality carburetor screwdrivers?

My Stihl screwdriver is holding up great and seems to be abused all the time for general use in the workshop, I have two, but it just made me wonder which other brands offer something of decent quality too?

Just noticed on ebay they're selling them for crazy money, looks like they were part of a Ferrari toolkit?

I used my Vessel Megadora stubby a bit on my old DGES, nice because the tip is hollow ground. The wood-compo version might be a better fit if your hands are wet with fuel.

Otherwise maybe the pb-swiss parallel tip drivers? Or any hollow ground design?

Lots of Companies sell flat blade screwdrivers that fit the jet screws on carburetors. Even the Harbor Freight long shaft small screwdriver set would work well. For the screws that hold the carb together and the needle retaining screw, I'd suggest a Vessel or Anex screwdriver in #2 Phillips. The Japanese screwdrivers fit the screws in Japanese (Mikuni or Kehin) carbs better.

It depends on what type of carburetor you are working on.

Sorry, I meant similar to the Stihl ones. Ižm just used to something small like that but I'd like to find one made by a more well known tool brand. The USAG one is nice, but they don't make them anymore.

Edit: Snap On seems to sell some nifty pocket screwdrivers too.

I have dozens of the proper size but when it comes to carburetors, I don't compromise. That is when the Snap-on drivers earn their keep.

For Japanese carbs, my Snap-on screwdrivers stay in the drawer. Burr heads should be haircuts........not a description of carburetor screws.

There may be subtle differences between the latest Japanese "Phillips" screws and the older JIS screws, but the Japanese screwdrivers still seem to fit the best. On a ten or fifteen year old carb where the screws have "grown into" the alloy carb body, you want the best screwdriver fit possible.
