Quality head stands ?

Hi,

I am searching for good quality head stands.

Anything not made in China, Taiwan etc basically.

I have a pair of those they are made Schley tools, picked them up off of eBay for around 40 bucks I think. I've used the vee type that Neway has and actually prefer the Shcley tools.

At work we used the Vee type for grinding seats and what not. Once the foam on the metal wears off just slip some heater hose over and good as new or better!

Nothing wrong with some 2x4's covered in a rag or some nice scrap leather from harry epstein's.

any chance you have the facillites to make some? there cheap and easy to make

I use craftsman long tapered punches that I have welded pockets onto the side of the workbench.
That setup hangs the heads over the edge of the workbench making it easier to port hands and grind seats

So to drag this thread back from the past......

Looking to buy a set of the Schley stands.

I am outside the US so have limited options on where to buy from.

Does anyone know if they are sold under Snap on / Mac tools now as i could possibly get them easier.
