I'm with buffalobill if a ratcheting driver will be useful to you (it will be for terminal strips). As long as you're not reaching deep into holes to get to fasteners, the Snap-On ratcheting driver is great.
You'll likely want a micro driver set too, since turning surface-mount pots is a delicate task. I'd recommend Wiha here, say 26199 from
here if you're on a tight budget or 27399 on the same page if you can afford it.
I carry some tools to and from work in a backpack every day since I prefer my own tools over what work provides. One thing I've found handy in my backpack is the Mead zipper pouches intended to be put in 3-ring binders. They don't appear to make the ones I have anymore, but Mead 50518 and 50642 could be handy for keeping track of little stuff. You could also look into a tool backpack, but when I bought my backpack, I couldn't find a tool one that would also hold my 17" MacBook Pro.
