Quality wire wheel for bench grinder

Can anyone recommend a good quality wire wheel for my 6" grinder? I picked up some old rusty c-clamps that I'd like to restore. I also have some hardware that needs to be cleaned as well.

What material of wheel should I be using, brass, carbon steel or stainless steel?

Weiler is my preferred brand. More-expensive than the Home Depot Avanti or others. Brass will do the job, carbon steel should last longer.

I use a Weiler wire wheel purchased from McMaster Carr.

They last quite a while and don't fling wire strands all over.
