Question about Concrete?

I'm going to purchase Garage Deck in the very near future and would like some opinions on some prep. I recently purchase a new construction townhouse with a new garage slab that is 19'2 by 20'2. I live in Chicago so it will see it's fair share of snow/salt. The concrete is about 6 months old and I was wondering if I should seal/stain etc for extra protection underneath the Garage Deck? Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

It wouldn't hurt to seal it. The builder could have used a cure & sealer on it when they poured so it may already have a layer of sealer.
