i dont particularly like the little rubber earplugs that you push into your ears. they seem to build up pressure in the ear canal which is uncomfortable for long periods. i tend to use foam earplugs but i can only reuse them a few times. do they make a reusable rubber earplug that doesn't cause pressure in the ear canal and that can be cleaned?

Those look cool, these are more clunky, but similar result. Can communicate almost like $100 electronic headsets, but no batteries and they don't weigh anything. And are more in my budget, the Zem, made in USA too!

i bought some winchester ear muf type ear protection, made for shooting. But i use them when drumming as it gets purdy loud at times. They were like 7 bucks, kinda bulky though.

I use the Howard Leight Quiet earplugs.
If I'm not wearing my E.A.R.'s, I'm wearing Howard Leights. Prefer the Max 50's though. You might want to check the Noise Reduction Rating on those Quiets, IIRC the Max 50's are the best ones that HL produces as far as NRR.

Yeah, I stick with them because they're comfortable. :)

I also use the Howard Leights disposable earplugs. I use them every work day and some times all day long. I can't say I like wearing them either but it is better than the alternative. Hearing loss. Earmuffs are good but for me there heavy and seem to get in my way. Sometimes I wear both in very noisey conditions. Disposables are nice, use them and throw them away.
