I have tools and more tools...Snap on ...Mac and Matco and a bunch of others...I know this sounds dumb but my husband never met a tool he did not like lol and there are tools I have no idea what some of them are...is there a good kind of resource that I can use to figure out what they are and value ....some from the 70s all the way to last year...

For values, eBay is the largest single resource.

As for raw research, there is no single reference. You can post odd ones in GJ and they'll get identified, but if you start posting too many, that could be annoying to some.

Researching hand tools is part science, part art form. It can be very challenging and time consuming. That's just the way it is. So roll up your sleeves and prepare to embark on a new pastime!
