Question about Gree mini split system

I recently built a 40x60 pole barn and added a apartment on one end of the space. The apartment was constructed with 8' ceilings, but the shop area has 13' ceilings.

I installed a Gree mini split system with two heads...one for the apartment and another for the shop area. The Gree unit is a Multi21 MULTI30HP230V1CO with two 18000 heads.

These are working just fine...my only question is will a tablet work for the Gree wifi app instead of a smart phone? Thanks in advance for any info.

Never got a reply from Gree using the link. I'm thinking any device that uses the Chrome OS will work as they have the ability to use Android apps.
