Question about HF 7 drawer end cabinet

Im looking to buy it and was wanting to know if anyone has switched the drawers around. Im wanting to change the top 2 small drawers for one of the bigger bottom drawers. Any input would be geat, thanks...heres a link for it incase anyone wants to see what Im talking about

It works I did just that on mine, liked keeping the impact in that drawer easy to get to.

Ok I just wanted to make sure before I pulled the trigger on it....you didnt have to move any slides or anything?

in mine the slides were evenly spaced top to bottom and the deeper drawers had 2 slide on them. I hit the releases and pulled out the top 2 and the top deep and then swapped locations took maybe 5 minutes and no tools

Does this end cabinet come in black? They show it in one of the pics for the big box, but I can't find a listing for it.

I've wondered the same thing. I can't seem to find anything about one. I did see one listing in the show your toolbox thread with the black side cabinet and top cabinet but I don't remember the poster

I will trade you a large drawer for two of the smaller drawers if your interested.

I swapped my bottom drawer on my 41" box for two small drawers. You can buy the replacement drawers from HF for around $20 each. The only bad part is shipping time. Mine took almost 12 weeks to arrive

+1 I have switched the drawers on my side cabinet back and forth enough, I can't remember which way it came anymore. RIght now, I have a deep on top and bottom and shallow in between. Like one of the above posters, I wanted impacts and other air tools up higher.

I didnt knoww you could order more drawrers, I wouldnt mind getting 2 more deep drawers for my bottom box....any info on how to order them?

Maybe call the 1-800 number listed in the manual that came with the cabinet when you bought it?

Buy two boxes. Swap the drawers around to the config you want. Return the other box.

Of course, that would be bad. You didn't hear it from me

So... do they come in black?
