so i picked up a miller 180 autoset for a smokin deal, and i have a couple questions about hooking it up. ive leaned how to weld just not the hookin it up part, so my questions, im wanting to welding at home but all thats there is(1) AC at the wall but i need DC for steel, do i need an power inverter? or is it built in the machine? also im having a buddy string me a 220 line to a part of the house im going to weld at,(2) will a 30A breaker work if not what do i need?(3)i also have a troy-bilt 5550watt generator and im wondering if that will power the welder when we have to go out and fix the tractors. ill attach pics of the welder specs and the generator specs. thank you for helpin out.
