I posted a thread last weekend about buying a Snapon YA 642 via CL for $60 last week, and asked about who may have built my long chassis 4 ton Sears jack.
I don't think I got a single damn response.
I hope this one is different.
there is again a Snap on YA 642 on CL this one "needs rebuilt" and the asking price is $35. I know these are $400 jacks new, how much would it cost me to do a basic rebuild on one?
I am interested, because my Lincoln/Walker/Marquette/Hein Warner/"whatever we are called this week" Taiwan built 93642 sure don't seem as "solid" as the old original ones were, of which I believe these Snap on versions that I am finding, are.
