So years back I bought a model 3 JD2 tubing bender and a couple of dies.
I have no complaints, but I looked at the website the other day and it looks like they have changed the design significantly.
The new version looks similar to the ProTools bender but the spacing for the follower dies is a little different.
Has anybody here used the new style jd2 bender?
Is the new version compatible with older dies?

Thanks,

This is a question to ask of that wrbsite you looked at.

You have the ability to ask the manufacturer, why would you decide on scuttlebutt and conjecture?

I have already asked the manufacturer and they replied that the older dies will fit. I'm still interested in what people think of the new design having tested it themselves.

I would check the Pirate 4x4 guys. They bend and notch a lot of tube for roll cages and bumpers.
