i always use the rustolineal paint in the quart, i think it quart, the small can, well anyway inflation has made the little can of enamal out the roof. it use to be $7.99 now it $16. (lowes) the gallon is over $50, not talking house paint just the oil base metal shop paint. I usually get flat black or light gray

even tractor supply is $16 and higher

so is there any off brands that might be cheaper in price. I bought a gallon one time on amazon and fed ex made the lid come off in transit, had a carboard box of wet

i just need it to paint my welding project, this month its my carport framing before i hang it

Try Habitat for Humanity - typically 25 cents on the dollar for paints that someone used once, then took it in and gave it away to them.

I paid $5.49 for a loaf of bread yesterday.

Cheapest interior/exterior latex paint ACE Hardware sells was $41.00 a gallon (in October -- I haven't checked lately.)
