Question about pressure washer nozzles

So in washing the deck, I somehow managed to split the white collar on the 40 degree tip. The tip itself is fine, but the collar just slips when I try to turn the tip to change the spray direction from say, vertical to horizontal. Replacing it with a new one is easy enough, but of course now I question why there isn't one made that has a hex or some other shape to keep the collar from just spinning around? Internet searches have given me nothing. Does such a thing exist? I'd rather not replace it with something that has the same potential for failure. If that's the case maybe I should just JBWeld the old collar back on and hope for the best. Anyone know if such a tip exists?
Thanks.

We sell a boat load of those and I have never seen anything different other than variations in the shape.

same here - we consume for rentals and sell tons of tips - they are all round in plastic. Most likely because it's easier or cheaper to manufacture the metal tip from round stock than hex stock.
