So yesterday I recieved my second pair of the Knipex Micro Cobras.
I wanted to have a spare just in case I lost or broke the first. This second one also has side to side play in the handles. I was told it was due to the design or something like that.
It also looks like a damn baboon did the grinding on this one just like the first. But that's for another thread.
I have been looking over the tool to figure out a way to remove some of the play. What I was thinking was I could remove the button and spring and put the pliers in a vice and gently squeeze the handles together.
If anyone has the cobra pliers do you think that would work?.
The metal isn't very thick so I think the vice should accomplish that task.
And yes I know it doesn't affect function of the tool but it just bugs the **** out of me.
