Question about running a circuit from one outbuilding to another

I have a pole barn about 250 ft from my main house. I've got a sub-panel in the pole barn. The sub-panel is properly wired, and there are 2 ground rods in place.

There is a 15x30 lean-to about 50 ft from my pole barn. I'd like to trench and run wire to this structure. I want to be able to add some outdoor lights and an outlet.

I'd like to add a circuit to the sub-panel and run it out through the wall underground, and into the side of the lean-to. I want to add at least 1 outlet, 1 switch, and some outdoor lights. This area is basically covered, but can be exposed to the elements during a heavy storm. I'd most likely use a GFCI breaker at the sub-panel.

Any issues doing this?

You can do this. Dig ditch deep, 24, use UF wire, number 12. What I do instead of a gfci breaker add an outlet with gfci and feed it from there and actually allowed to dig only 12 inch if you want. If this is a separate building add a switch for this line just after it enters the building as a means of disconnect.

If the circuit is GFI protected at the source and only 120 volts and 20 amps in a residential setting, the burial depth can be decreased to 12" unless it will be subject to vehicular traffic.

This is how I did my shed wiring. It is GFCI protected before it goes into the ground from the garage. It is a single run of 12 gauge UF-B, and is buried at 12 inches deep since it is protected before it enters the ground.

I put a simple switch as a disconnect in the shed which shuts the power off to it if need be.
