I am hopefully getting closer to building a new detached shop. My questions that I have are in regards to what type of fasteners to use since I will one using a treated sill plate for the walls. I know that with the newer treated lumber you need to use special fasteners to prevent corrosion. What type of co nacre the anchor should I use to anchor to the wall to the slab? The last garage that I built I used red head anchors. My other question is what type of nails should I use to go through the sill plate into the bottom of the studs? The way I see it these should be a specialty nail also, correct? Thank you in advance!!!

Anchor and nails in both cases should be hot dipped galvanized. Do not confuse with electrogalvanized, which has a thiner coating.

I have never heard of any problems when useing hot dipped galvanized "J" bolts embedded in the slab and then having the sill bolted to them.
