Question about the Milwaukee miter saw...

I'm looking to buy a new Milwaukee Miter Saw - anyone know where I can find the best price?

Farm and Fleet has it on sale right now for $599. But I'm not opposed to buying online, if the price is right.

I don't think you will find it for less then that price. I think $649 is Milwaukee's MAP on that saw.

I looked a little when you started the thread.....didn't come up w much other than reconditioned from CPO for $550. They're still doing $25 off recon for a few more days, so $525. I can forward you the email if you choose this route, but most people freak out about the 1 yr warranty so didn't figure it would interest you.

Yep. Most of the places I looked online had it for $649.

Looks like HD is also $649, but you can likely get 10% by calling (or online chat) and saying you have a Lowes coupon --you may also have to "make up" a coupon code - tutorial on SD. So there may not be any reason to rush for the Blain's sale.

Your 1st post made it sound as though you'd be buying locally? (I'm nowhere near a B&M Blain's). If so, how much is sales tax on $600 vs buying online? Even if I order from HD.com I pay 2.9% state tax vs 7.9 local (and its 100% legal with no additional sales or use tax required to be reported -- for the tax police on the board)
