Question about tool warranty

I purchased a torx set made by gearwrench. Upon breaking a t45 I returned to fasten all and they exchanged the whole set. Is this normal? I have snap on torx and they just replace the bit.

Is it normal for a company to just replace a set over one broken bit? I have not used them since the replacement as I took them home. I work on semi trailers and the ice breaker keepers rust and get stuck. I don’t hammer on them with anything more than a 3/8 ratchet. Once free I will run them out with an impact wrench. But the bits are not made for impact use and I don’t want the hassle of trying to get replacements.

My question is whether I should toss them in the box and forget about them or sell them for someone else to get use out of. I have my snap on set I use daily

I will look into the Astro set. I now have to chase the snap on truck after some sour politics with the shop owner and the snap on driver. And I prefer not to have to keep going to fastenal for replacement bits. Even if I could just buy the bits separately I would be happy.

sour snapon dealer ***** considering their prices lol, I got same, our mac guy perfect and thus gets more business.
Astro worth keeping eye on as impact set sounds to be top effort and support/warranty generally top notch and even get support through this forum via Astro rep .

Fastenall buy and sells them. It’s an inventory thing.
They likly did not have the single item so they replace the tool by replacing the set.
The manufacturer credits them
