Question about vintage NAPA tools.

Just wondering who made them and are they a good tool?

And how they rank compared to Proto, SK, vintage Craftsman.

The drive tools were mostly made by Easco. If you like Craftsman they are essentially the same thing.

Way back I remember New Britain, but agree, the more recent Dahner/Craftsman/Easco/NAPA raised panel wrenches are more common.

The New Britain/Sparta tools were being phased out and replaced by Napa brand at about the time I stopped working at Napa around 1980. I don't know the manufacturer of the replacement Napa tools, but I recall being unimpressed, and that the regular (mechanic) customers were unhappy with them.
