In my experience, yes.

My friend found an old S-52 ratchet that someone had thrown in the scrap bin at his shop and asked me if I could get it working or if it was completely screwed. When I got it apart I found both pawls busted... called SO first because I needed to get some repair kits for ratchet wrenches that had busted flippy levers, they told me I had to call a different number. The Williams rep told me no repair kits were available for the old DP S-52 but if I would pack it up and send it back to them they'd warranty it; sure enough, a week or so later I had a shiny new S-52A in my mailbox.

I came across a vintage Williams 3/4 Ratchet when I bought an entire tool lot. I read on William's website that they do not honor anything over 40 years old. This ratchet was def older then 40 years old. I had most of the parts. None the less, I sent it to them, with a letter stating that if they can not warranty it to please send it back. Got a package in the mail with a new one. Williams has earned nothing but plu's due to that. My job box is mostly Snap On. My home box is Snap On and Williams due to my lovely experience with them. They made their money back and some!

I also had a great experience with williams on an 3/8 drive extension that had been in our shop for years and was missin the retaining ball.
They fixed us up and I will not forget it. I have had a S53 ratchet for over 20 years that has been a workhorse and while Williams does not have any kits , I purchased a couple off of eBay to keep this ratchet working way into the future.
I would love to find a Williams distributor in Houston .
