Question for Craftsman C3 19.2V tool owners.

I recently purchased a Craftsman C3 19.2V cordless impact for use at home. When I plug in the charger it makes a buzzing/whine noise with or without a battery in it. I am just wondering if that is normal or something I should be concerned about? It seems to charge the battery fine I just wanted to see if other peoples chargers make the same noise.

I have never had a battery charger of any kind that buzzed/whined.

I've had two of the same charger. One of them charges fine, but the other one has a high pitch whine while charging. Regardless, it still charges my battery.

Do all of the 19.2 V batteries work in all the 19.2 tools? For instance- die hard, c3, lithium ion, NiCad. Are all these interchangeable as long as it is craftsman 19.2V?
