Legacy,

I have a question for you and your products..

I just built a 32X50 Garage, about 1600 Square feet and will be needing to treat the floor here soon.

I have been searching high and low for floor treatments other than Epoxy to achieve the look I want for my new Garage…

I basically want a wet look floor I can do myself, and roll it out maybe two coats.
I really like the look of the Home Depot flooring, this stuff takes a daily beating and holds up very well.

Here is picture…

Is there any way to get that on a home Garage floor…

Thanks,
Mike

Howdy . Those floors are power troweled hot and heavy, treated with densifier and buffed up using a stainguard.

Remember, they do a great job maintaining those floors. Regularly buffing and probably some floor wax too.

It can be done at home the same way. Of course if its poured already you can mimic the look with our HD6600 sealer.

Two or three coats of matte or gloss. You can protect its finish by waxing from time to time.

If your floor has been poured and you still want a polished look, then polish it.
The equipment is hard to rent if available at all but you could hire someone to do a "hone".
Grind and ascend polishing discs/tools to a level 400 grit, buff heavily and wax.
We have customers who are just entering the polishing market by purchasing our Diamabrush polishing discs, add a floor maintainer (swing machine) and you have the ability to do your own polishing.
It will look similar to a Home Depot or similar floor.

Scotty,

I am about to seal my new power troweled concrete floor with HD6600 gloss finish. Following the seal coats (x2) should I wax immediately or after a couple of months? Which of your wax products is recommended? I do not plan to power polish per your posted polishing instructions.

Thanks.

Bill
