What the hell do these things weigh? I've seen figures all over the map but no one seems to be able to even give a fair estimate. Is 300-400lbs in the ballpark?

Are you getting the weight they will hold confuse with their actual weight?

I have sold a few dozen of them and I have never seen one that weighted over 250 pounds. Not to say they are not that heavy but I have never seen one and there is no reason to have one that heavy.

Depending on year, and thus "features". According to snap on they weight 375lbs. Give or take a few lbs.

I have one, I have never been sure as to how much it weighs. I suspect about 350 lbs. Without the drawers in it, a friend of mine and I were able to put it into his van. I have 2 Snap On top chests and 2 Snap On Drawer Sections mounted on top of mine. It has held up well for over 25 years now.

A few dozen? Uh...okayyyyyy....

I don't find your answer at all plausible.
