Those that have bought the Wera Joker Wrenches did you replace old wrenches with these or did you keep both?

In theory, looks good. Who has them and whatchya think? I would think the 12 pt open end makes sense and then the flat black part "changes" it to a 6 pt. Can you replace the black part? I'll look at the website....

So, is this a tool for retarded mechanics or what?

Every time is see an ad that tries to exaggerate the complexity of the tool they are trying to replace, I write them off as infomercial junk.

I just don't see the advantage.

I love the sad and happy face....

I nearly spat my tea out on the carpet when the first sad face popped up...

On nearly every example shown a simple box spanner or a socket would have
worked better. Another fine example of people finding solutions to problems
that don't exist. But Gawd bless 'em for trying.

I hate to flip my wrench over and over again in tight spaces, soo thats a good inovation i think.
Makes it easier sometimes...

But their screwdrivers are the best part....best in the world.....

Channelok does that, nothing better than the regular 430, I wasted some money on new improved I would trade 2 pairs for one old one.

I stopped watching at about 1:45.

One could comment about using the right tool for the job, and not being a complete spaz, as whoever the subject of the video is.

I took my 13mm joker-wrench for a stresstest today. I was sure it would break considering how much weight I'd put on it.
But amazingly , it held up. I even stood on it either way.

Now i can get the whole set, because i know how well made it seems too be:rocker: Its NOT a gimmick.

This is the Pictures afterwards. The nut is waaasted...:eyecrazy:

I've also done the open end wrench flip more times than I care to remember. This design seems to be able to eliminate that.

But I agree with other posters with the exaggeration of the problems of keeping the wrench on an exposed fastener just detracts from the quality of the whole effort.

Hey decaf, so it's been a year since you got and tested the one wrench. Did you ever pick up the others in the range? What kind of love do you give them after a year of use?

I'm just starting to build out my tools and only have a dozen or so newer Kobalt wrenches right now. These caught my eye as maybe a good core set to build from (I wish they made more size and some other type wrenches). How do you like the handle on them? They look fat, but comfortable.

While the their video is over exaggerated, even with my light home garage work I've ran into each of those "issues" many times.

Oh, wow. I got a good laugh out of the guy in the video who's never used a wrench before.
