Ok, doing the spring cleaning here and I am either gonna poop or get off the pot on an old Marquette model m floor jack. It was my dad's and I just can't let it go, so here are my questions..!

For someone who has NEVER done this, but I am fairly handy with cars, is disassembly/reassembly difficult?

It does work, but I want to do it "right" so should I paint it or powder coat it?
It looks nasty as hell right now!

Is there a manual available for instructions on dis/re assembly?

Am I correct that the member hiball is the guru regarding the parts, etc?

Any suggestions, hints, forewarnings, before I start?!

THANKS!!

I never did one in my life before joining GJ and I have the same experience as you. Got a Weaver jack and it was pretty straight forward with help from Hiball and another member guide on here, easy. Do a search to find the guide.
