Hey guys. The foot-guide whatever its called. I need the hole spacing on the newer models. The one that forks on either side of the blade.
OK They call it: "work steady rest"
I want to put one on the older saw that has a pecker hanging on one side.
OR Make one. I'd rather purchase if'n it'll fit.
Thanks

I have one but its at work right now. Was at Home Depot today and looked at the floor model. I didn't see any "bolt spacing". The top of the rest was smooth (no bolts) and it slides in and out.

Would tend to imagine most on this forum have the battery version and by your pic yours is not battery, if that makes a difference?

I had one of them old classics as well with the single side "rest"...IMHO go with the SWAG base plate...even if you didn't get the whole stand assembly. The aluminum plate is actually really nice even when OFF of the stand..
This is the plate in question:

Looks like 2 1/2 and 3 1/4. The saw you have pictured has a sliding foot. The saw this part came off is a 6230 with a fixed foot.
