Hey all. Got a random question on newish block foundation. 2 years old and getting very tiny shrinkage cracks in some mortar joints which I would imagine will happen. Nothing moving or anything. Just wondering for you guys that have block foundation, do you ever go around and tuck point any of yours or leave it be? I’m not getting any water infiltration or anything. Just cosmetic. Don’t have any pictures right this second

If you are really worried there are kinda thick flexible brush/trowel on coatings you can go over all the blocks with, makes it look more like solid concrete. I did it for some exposed concrete on a daylight basement wall just to make it look better. So you couldn't see all the form bolt marks and lines. Worked great and has held up fine for about 5 years now, I forget it's there because it just looks like concrete.
