Is this still made like the old SPG International boxes? It looks like a Husky but is much deeper? Anyone seen one of these?

This is 100% speculation on my part. As far as I know, SPG International went bankrupt and is dead and gone. I'm thinking someone bought the rights to their designs. International had designs of their own that they are easy to pick out, like the triple bank box with the two narrow banks on one side for example. Husky still offers that box to this day several years after International shut down. If you can find anything saying that box is made in Canada, maybe International reorganize or something. If it's made in China, I guess someone has the rights to the name.

I've seen that same box come up a few times on the internet in the last week or two, but I can't for the life of me figure out if it's new stock or not. My gut feeling is that it's possibly a limited run of 46" boxes that were completed as a spec order for Home Depot (haven't seen them anywhere else for sale) that they are clearing stock of.

I cruised SPGs catalog for a while before choosing the VRB 4210, but missed the boat to get a top and side cabs since they went under (not for lack of trying). I have seen one 41" Mastercraft Maximum series box (top and bottom) that looks to be of similar build quality and materials, and that has what I believe to be possibly the same paint as my orange VRB. The drawers however are full width, which is not what I was looking for. It's listed online on the website for $399 for top, $499 for the bottom but the only place I've seen them in stock was Mississauga at the Meadowvale Town Centre location.

I got one of these boxes a few weeks ago as I needed more room at work. Overall it's a good box, I use it mobile for when I'm doing work across the shop I have a worktop and most my sheet metal tools in it. Is it the same as my 6s or my matco cart? No, but it was worth the 400 it cost imo. Not sure if it's the same as the older international boxes, but it is the same as the husky.
