I have about 20 to 25 tools registered for the lifetime warranty on their website. Bought a new 3 piece tool kit and a few other tools. When I went to register those I was looking at the tools I already had registered and noticed two tools did not have the right serial numbers. The only thing so far I have used the warranty for is replacement of a few batteries which the replacements have the right serial numbers. The tools in question were purchased in 2010 and I still have the receipt. I was wondering if I have lost the LSA for those tools ? I'll probably call on Tuesday to see just wanted to get your guy's opinion.

It's only a 3 year warranty if you don't register within the first 90 days for the LSA.

Right, but you did register them. Somewhere along the way the serial numbers were entered incorrectly. Guess we'll have to see what they say on Tuesday.

Did not honor it. OK SO THE RECEIPT AND INFORMATION YOU SENT ME IS NOT LINING UP WITH THE INFORMATION ON YOUR ACCOUNT. THE KIT YOU HAVE REGISTERED IS NOT WHAT YOU PURCHASED ON THE RECEIPT. IT ISNT EVAN THE SAME ITEIMS. SO THE ITIEMS ON YOUR ACCOUNT WILL JUST HAVE A 3YEAR WARRANTY WHICH HAS ALREADY EXPIRED.

Don't see how it's not the same have the box and the the receipt. The numbers on the box match the receipt.

I guess my new tools are going to go back. And I am going to go with another brand from now on no tti for me. Like the tools but if they don't stand behind them don't have much use for a company like that.

I was just looking at "your products" on the Ridgid sit and it shows the information that I sent them with warranty expired. But the tools that have the wrong s/n are still on there with the LSA. The part numbers are the same just not the right s/n.

TTI makes Milwaukee, warranty with them is more straight forward since they have a date of manufacture coded into the serial

Don't know that is the million dollar question. It was back in 2010. Got some new tools for Christmas and was checking my old tools on the website and 3 of the tools are not right. So if you guys have any Ridgid Power Tools make sure your serial number and model numbers match what is on the website and make a copy of them.

I did contact them. All they told me was that the tools that I have that don't match what is on the website I'm sol on the LSA. The model number matches but not the serial number.
