Just bought a Snap On KR537 and 557. How do I separate the to box from the bottom? I can't see any bolts and I've tried to push different directions to see if it's keyed. Sorry for the basic question but I can't seem to figure this out

It's heavy, sure you're giving it enough oomph?

Pull drawers to double check for bolts.

Did someone weld it? Or use JB weld or something?

When I had My KR637 and 657, the were under the bottom drawer and went down inside the bottom runners. You could not see the bolts from the outside. You had to remove the bottom drawer of the 637 and the top drawer of the 657 to get to the nuts and bolts. I used 4 X 1/4 inch bolts that fit the holes. When my box was tipped over by being driven into, the bolts held the 2 boxes together and saved some damage on the top box.

The top box would be bolted to the bottom box, IIRC they use 1/4 thread bolts, 3/8 head maybe?

Remove Two or three drawers at the top of the low box. The upper box should have two protruding rails on the bottom, these are the areas the bolts interface with. The bolts go up through the bottom box's top, into the base of the lower. They're really not that heavy, so if you can't lift it off its likely bolted.
