question on snap on tm72 rebuild

I rebuilt my ratchet but was wondering what holds in on,off selector it falls out put silicone to hold it but afraid it will fall out.thanks

You probably need to peen the end of the reverse lever. I usually place the ratchet on a vise with the square drive hanging over the edge and tap the end of the reverse lever with a hammer to peen the end of it so it stays in.
