I have a new Gerstner badge to apply to the bottom shelf and am wondering what would be a good choice of adhesive to use. Thinking maybe the same used to secure the felt in the drawers, but not sure. Thanks!

To don't remember what I used...you could try hide glue. Super glue would probably work as long as you don't overdo it. Tough to wipe off.

I used Eilene's tacky glue on both my O52 & O42, it worked great.

Gerstner recommends wood glue or super glue. I'm really not a fan of super glue, and I don't think wood glue will not adhere well to finished/lacquered wood. Didn't want to experiment, wanted to do it right the first time. May try some hide glue, since easily removed.

For the badge I'd use clear 5 minute epoxy. A couple dots is all you need.

For felt adhesive ask Gerstner but I think they recommend white glue. You don't want to use any glue that will outgas and cause rust.

I've used GE Silicone II as a bonding agent & it does work well. Trust me, you won't go wrong using it for this application. But if you weren't happy with the results, it can be removed with no harm to the finish of the box. (run some fishing line behind the badge to break the bond) Given my results in the past, I'm sure you'll be pleased. Put a light film on that badge, let it set & guarantee it won't come off unless you take it off.
You can buy it in a small tube, white or clear. No need to buy the larger size for a caulking gun. My $.02.
