I am planning on installing a Behr epoxy floor in my 2 car garage as soon as the weather warms up. I purchased 2 single car garage packages from Home Depot but now I am wondering if I should buy an additional package in case I don't have enough to complete the job. I was planning on using the flakes that came with the package and bought additional flakes so that I will have the look I want.

Also, Is 1 coat of epoxy enough to get good coverage on the floor, or should I buy additional packages so that I can put on a second coat?

Because I want to use the flakes, I need to know about a possible second coat of epoxy before I begin the project.

Thanks, in advance,

Soca

Don't know about that product, but with most products, you should count on two coats. I didn't use that product but I can tell you that my floor looked kinda crappy after the first coat. It looked fine, just like the other floors on this site after the 2nd coat.

You would broadcast flakes into the top color coat.
