A good way to check would be to download the parts manuals for both on Quincy's site and compare part #'s. If they're the same, the only difference should be with regards to pressure lubrication.

Thank you. Good idea.

Parts catalog for QP-5 : https://www.revbase.com/TagTeam/client/Download.asp?FileID=7885858&DataID=2471638&ViewID=2&OrderID=0

Parts catalog for QT-5 : https://www.revbase.com/TagTeam/client/Download.asp?FileID=7886190&DataID=2471721&ViewID=3&OrderID=0

The motor part number for both are the same : 115/230v, 1Ø 200v, 3Ø 230/460v, 3Ø
1 *2023000868 8099 127466I062 5 h.p. motor (ODP)

Look at the pulley numbers/sizes. It looks like both motors are the same RPM but different pulley sizes will yield different pump speeds.

Both pulleys or just one?

There is only 1 "motor pulley" (or any pulley) in the catalog (for both QP and QT). How else can I check?

Also, wouldnt they advertise the RPM actual in their sheet? Its a bit too much to list X RPM and expect customer to figure out final RPM after factoring the pulleys

There is a second pulley on the pump. If the pump pulleys are the same size then you know the pumps turn at the same speed. I'm not sure if they would advertise the pump RPM on the sheets. I often see the motor RPM but not always the pump RPM.

OK, I was curious and looked at the mfr site. If you look at the links below then click the pdf link you will find they do list the pump RPM for each model. Both are the same RPM, 942. The two pumps look like they are based on the same parts save for the addition of a pressure lube system on one vs the other.

I guess the 680 is just a typo. Well, most likely it will be SB or Champion as it doesnt make sense now to spend this amount of money on QP.
