Yesterday, I used the snap on cooling system pressure tester on a lexus es300 to check for coolant leak. The system was holding pressure for 2 minute and gradually loss pressure down to 14 psi but I see no leak. Does that mean the tester is leaking or the car is leaking coolant somewhere? THanks

You could also use your radiator cap adapter and test your pressure tester on a known good cap. Just stop applying pressure a couple pounds below caps rated pressure, let it stand a while and see what happens.

Good luck! Hope this helps.

If it held at 14 psi, you don't have a problem !
