Posted here a ways back about Neoguard flooring products. I did wind up buying 1000 sq ft of Neoguard system- it's Peda guard urethane based coating.
Finally looking to get this floor done in the next few weeks. I have a 24x32 garage, floor is app 1 year old with a broom finish. It has control joints that I'd like to fill prior to application.
My plan is to diamond grind the floor. Looking for help with that process. After I grind it do I wash / rinse the floor off ? Straight water or any chemicals?
Control joints- any recommendations for filling them?
Also need to pretty up the edge where floor meets the wall. Have radiant heat and the rigid insulation ( cut at a 45 degree bevel) can be seen in some spots. My thought was to use Sikkaflex or something similar.Any thoughts?
Lastly the flooring itself. What's the best way to spread the urethane flooring? Roller?Squeegee? My plan is to have 1 friend do the cutting with a brush while 2 of us do the main body.
Any help would really be appreciated. I'm at work now but can take pix tomorrow if that helps.
