Questions on Miller 211

I just got a used Miller 211 from the local welding supply store for $1000. I was trying to order some tips, diffuser, and nozzles. The manual that came with it seems to imply that I have an MDX-100 gun. When I start looking for parts I see many accessory kits for M-10,M-20,M-40,M100,M150 etc. but very few mention MDX-100. My diffuser has D-M100 stamped on it. Do I need to find stuff for an MDX-100 or is an M-10 or M-100 the same thing.

I found some T-M023 tips as all it came with was .030 tips. I have also seen mention that to use .023 wire I also need to change out the liner. Is that true? I always thought that you could use .023 wire in a .030 liner.

Do Hobart tips work with the 211 or do I have to look for Miller tips?

Thanks

Reb

i could be mistaken but the nozzle for the m100 is a slide over and the MDX 100 is a thread on. but the tips a hobart tip should work just fine.

reference that site for a model number on the tips

I have never changed the liner when change wire sizes

My Miller 211 is the MDX-100 gun as well.
here is a link to cyberweld to look at what you need

The hobart tips dont work, this MDX gun changed the threads on the tips from the "standard" tweco style.
Only place I've found consumables is online or my local Airgas.
I have ran .023, .030 and .035 thru mine without changing the liner as well.

Miller did another price increase this week so the prices on welders and consumables keep going up I see.
