I'm about ready to do my floor with epoxy-coat. The literature says it has about a 15-20 min work time before it sets up at about 70 deg and faster if hotter. Right now I am in the high 90's. My floor is about 21x22 and I am wanting to do it in sections like the directions say.

So here's my question: If I mix enough of a batch for one section at a time, is there left-over residual in the bucket after each time that sets up and dries while I'm working the floor? Or is the set up time in the bucket longer than when on the floor?

The set-up time is always faster if material is left in the bucket. Best bet is follow manufacturer's directions. And to pour the material on to the floor after mixing. Personally I would buy additional buckets for each batch. The buckets are cheaper than the epoxy. Good Luck!
